UDSM UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION FOR 2014/2015 BATCH 5 & 6

The following applicants have been selected to join various undergraduate degree programmes for the 2014/2015 academic year - Batch 5 and 6 from TCU. The selected applicants should report at the Mwl. J.K. Nyerere Mlimani Campus on Saturday 11th October 2014 for the orientation week which will start on Monday 13th October 2014. Applicants selected for admission into Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) and Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) should report directly to the college's campuses in Chang'ombe and Iringa respectively on the same dates. Joining instructions and admission letters should be collected at the University campuses where one is admitted.

GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS TENABLE IN THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA FOR THE YEAR 2015 

The Ministry of Education and Vocational Training is inviting application from qualified Tanzanians for the undergraduate degree programme (hereafter called 2015 undergraduate GKS”)   to be conducted in the Republic of Korea for the academic year 2015- 2020

Qualifications
Prospective candidates must meet the following qualifications:-
·   Applicants must have passed their Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination with an average of B⁺ grade or above;
·   Applicants must not be older than 25 years by March, 1^st , 2015; and
·   Applicants must not at any time have ever received Korea Government Scholarship for undergraduate studies

Mode of Application
(a)   All application should be made using application forms from the Website http://www.studyinkorea.go.kr;
(b)   Applicants can apply for all other programmes except those which are exceeding four years duration (eg. medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, architecture etc); and
(c)    Application forms should be filled as per guidelines and be attached with all necessary attachments as stipulated in the checklist.
Completely filled application forms should be submitted to the address below before 15^th October, 2014

COMMONWEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS TENABLE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM FOR THE YEAR 2015 

The Ministry of Education and Vocational Training as a nominating agent in the country for the Commonwealth scholarships in inviting applications from qualified Tanzanians for Masters and Doctorate degrees tenable in the United Kingdom in the year 2015.

The Scholarships include:

• One year taught masters courses of equivalent degrees.
• Doctorate degrees of up to three years duration.

Qualifications:

1. Applicants must be holders of bachelor of masters degrees;
2. Applicants for masters must have bachelor degrees of GP A not less than 3.5; and
3. Applicants for Doctorate degrees must have a B Grade Masters degrees or a GPA 4.0 or above at Masters level.

Mode of Application:

• All applications should be made directly to the Commonwealth Secretariat and should be online using the following link: http://bit.ly/cscuk-apply
• It is important that applicants should read and understand all given instructions when filling the application forms, and should attach all necessary attachmentssuch as certified copies of academic certificates, transcripts, birth certificates and submit online through the above mentioned link.

All applicants who wish to be nominated by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, should print one hard copy of completely filled application form, attach with certified photocopies of academic certificates, transcripts and birth certificates and submit them to the address below before 31^st October, 2014.
