NAMES OF SELECTED CANDIDATES TO JOIN THE UNIVERSITY OF DAR ES SALAAM FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2016/17

The following applicants have been selected to join various undergraduate degree programmes for the 2016/2017 academic year.The selected applicants should report at the Mwl. J.K. Nyerere Mlimani Campus on Saturday 8th October 2016 for the orientation week which will start on Monday 10th October 2016. Applicants selected for admission into Dares Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) and Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) should report directly to the college's campuses in Chang'ombe and Iringa respectively on the same dates.

MATOKEO YA KIDATO CHA NNE 2015

MATOKEO YA KIDATO CHA NNE MWAKA 2015 YAMETANGAZWA RASMI

Baraza la mitihani Tanzania limetangaza matokeo ya mtihani wa kidato cha nne wa mwaka 2015 yanayoonesha kiwango cha ufaulu kushuka kwa asilimia 0.80.

Akitangaza matokeo hayo, Katibu Mtendaji wa Baraza hilo Dkt Charles Msonde amesema kuwa jumla watahiniwa 272,947 sawa na 67.53% ya watahiniwa wote waliofanya mtihani wa kidato cha nne 2015 wamefaulu tofauti na mwaka 2014 ambapo ufaulu ulikuwa 68.33%.
  
Msonde amesema kwa upande wa watahiniwa wa shule, waliofaulu ni 240,996 sawa na asilimia 67.91 ya waliofanya mtihani, wasichana wakiwa 11,125 (64.84) na wavulana wakiwa 124,871 (71.09). 
 
Amesema kwa upande wa watahiniwa wa shule, ufaulu umeshuka kwa asilimia 1.85 ikilinganishwa na mwaka 2014.

The Centre for Science and Technology of Non-Aligned and other Developing Countries (NAM S&T Centre) is inviting applications for the award of Fellowships under its “Research Fellowship Training for Developing Scientists (RTF-DCS)” scheme for the year 2015-16.
